Article #13: Spare My Heart

Dear Reader,
9-11 has totally wrapped my head around. I've had trouble sleeping, difficulty praying, and have been unable to focus to meditate. I have
also experienced total writers' block. As you can see, this column is
way past due. I've even been unable to write songs. I feel as though
my words are trite and have little meaning. Until I can write something
worthwhile, I'll spare you and. . . spare my heart.
In the meanwhile, today I received a wonderful Boondocks cartoon. It
nicely summed up some of my thinking.
